Short and simple post, but the uptime on this site has gone from dismal to decent with a small change.  Assuming this stability was not due to a Windows update, a simple change to disable IPV6 on the nic seems to have fixed the near-daily outages.  Check out this recent report from UptimeRobot (an uptime monitoring service I used to alert me to an outage):

So happy to have some stability back.  I am still annoyed that this mini-pc lost wifi capability, but with the near constant uptime and a smart plug to "reboot" it if needed, I am OK with the new incovenient location of the device. 

Now if only I could figure out what I wanted to do with this site :)
